To put it quite simply, Danielle had no idea what to do. For some, probably incredibly stupid, reason, her first instinct upon seeing the man act incredibly villainous was to jump and fight. Luckily, she didn't act upon instinct. Sometimes. But her conscience wouldn't just let her leave. Oh no, it had to make sure she stayed unless the situation was obviously under control. As if her conscience seemed to think that she could control it any better than anyone else. Which was almost immediately proven false.
As the young girl hesitated, not just one but 3 people had answered the call while she had sat there idiotically. Surely they could handle one person, right? Two pulled out guns, from what might as well have been thin air to her. Apparently people were hiding all sorts of things on their person. The girl....well she was loud, Danielle guessed.
She scrambled into a close hiding spot, as she knew that any attempts to actually escape at this point would be incredibly obvious. From her position, she watched, hoping that one of the trio would take the man down, hopefully before any more life was lost. Unfortunately, the bullets all missed. It couldn't just be that easy, could it?
Then the windows shattered. Her thoughts raced past quickly. Why had the windows exploded? Why didn't the glass seem to hit the ground? Again, if she had been one to do so, as well as in a position where that was actually possible, she would have facepalmed. That still unnamed menace (guess who) had practically, if not literally, shouted that he was a gifted. Then, the glass came racing toward the man, and she dropped, the glass missing her by perhaps a hair, with a rather loud thump. Did he hear her?
