The new system gives us the option, so it's worth discussing.
Originally, this was the plan for FA. No one could see anyone else's stats, levels, power levels, etc. But somewhere along the line, I realized that was getting too difficult to maintain. I made the old Level system so people could tell reasonably well who ought to win a fight.
Well, with the new system, we're back to the same question again. Should we allow everyone to see the stats of other characters? People will already be able to see a character's Threat Level, so they can get a very vague and possibly quite inaccurate idea of how strong that character is.
Along with this are individual stats, and a truly accurate overall Level that sums up the total of that character's abilities. One possible compromise would be to make the levels visible again, but leave the stats out of it.
Another factor that can't be ignored is that anyone who can approve a character could see the person's hidden stats. That might mean some staff members would use that knowledge to their advantage, and subtlely avoid confrontations with more powerful enemies.
Displaying stats might be seen as a necessary move to ensure that the playing field remains even. I certainly don't think any of our current staff would do this, but I suppose once you see the stats, I'd be hard to ignore.
Personally, I'm leaning toward Option 3: You see your own stats and your own Threat Level, but only the Threat Level for other characters. That's basically the most realistic setup in my opinion.

Option | Pros | Cons |
All Stats Visible | No possibility of unfair advantage | Unrealistic; Users have impossible knowledge about enemies |
Levels Visible | Less unrealistic knowledge; Simple estimate of stats | Still a form of unrealistic knowledge; Possible staff advantage |
Your Own Stats Visible | Good sense of progress; Realistically dangerous to fight unknown enemies | Possible staff advantage |
No Stats Visible | Most immersive experience; Realistically dangerous to fight unknown enemies | Highest probability of staff advantage; No sense of progress other than Threat Level; Less sense of character development |
Personally, I'm leaning toward Option 3: You see your own stats and your own Threat Level, but only the Threat Level for other characters. That's basically the most realistic setup in my opinion.
