Name: Ferdinand "Ferd" Green.
Age: Twenty three.
Height: 5'10"
Weight: Around the 160 lb range.
Gender: Male.
Race: Human.
Appearance:
Modesty always marked Ferdinand's body, not one tattoo etched upon his pale unburnt skin or piercings that riddled the body with what he considered grotesque holes, zilch. He never burdened himself with the thick-rimmed glasses to perch over his eyes unless at means to decipher words upon paper; never bothered with rings, necklaces, or any other sort of staples save for his trusty chocolate thinly manufactured sweater and a loosely slack pair of jeans matched with black Vans. He always slipped the hood over his head as if he hushed others from glancing towards his face, as if he had something to hide from the others, just in case, he'd point to himself.
A tamed, stylized stubble danced across his face, mainly focusing in upon his blunt jaw with barely the traces of a mustache tickling under his protruding nose; this bridge toward the upper face is where the everyday human appearance stopped depending upon the situation. Although at first his eyes display as your everyday normal light browns, in the face of conflict they twist into an almost cartoonish representation of almost hypnotic pitch black spirals.
Other than that, simply groomed dark hair fitted upon his scalp as Ferdinand tended to let the lengths grow for a few months before retreating it back to an inch of uniform strands (not too uniform as he doesn't spend too long on his hair, though). His slightly chapped lips rarely part unless something called for an answer, and even then his answers tend to be short.
A reference picture for all of you too lazy to read through my description.
Personality:
Judgmental to most other gifteds-
Ferdinand was never a fan of those who appeared “strange” as they carry on too much “weight on his world”, anything not human actually scared him in a sense and when not in the company of those such beings freely spoke his mind about them. To him, things like drows, angels, demons... they look so “unnatural” and against all things he claimed to be sane and normal. Although he does bite his tongue in the presence of these beings, he tends to shed some sort of hint of awkwardness among them when stirring up a conversation, it's not that he wants these creatures to be exterminated, it just makes him uneasy. He feels if he can't even relate to them as a human he can't really relate to them at all.
Always hungry-
If Ferdinand trapped himself in a fast food restaurant he'd freak if he couldn't even nab one delicious cheeseburger from the back of the store so that he wouldn't go hungry, in fact, he'd probably invite himself to the food without consent. He almost has an obsession with it if not eventually sinking down to his senses when he realizes food sustains only a certain amount of importance... and space in his belly. But... he just can't get enough food, even if he's full!
Friend maker, but not always loyal-
Yes, Ferdinand enjoyed the company of many many friends, but these many many friends fall victim under his mental note taking of who did what, who asked that, and so on. If stones must be thrown and he gets paid, and if that friend marks low on his importance meter, he'll tattle on him or her depending on the circumstance. Closer friends' secrets are more well hidden, but that's not to say that these secrets are never slipped out in a bout of spiteful rage or depression.
Background:
What's there to say really? Although adopted, Ferdinand led a fairly boring life and socially cut himself off from most of his school friends for the majority of his school years from kindergarten to the last days of high school. Always roamed on the internet, always played video games, and almost always by himself, it's safe to say Ferdinand was happy secluding himself in simple pleasures. He didn't care much for the whole USRPC drama until he realized this problem was more than some sort of “they'll get over it” and even then he didn't bother to share he had a power in the first place. He still keeps his power a secret to this day from others that appear just humans, but amongst the very gifteds he prefers not to socialize with, he demonstrates for a tantamount of acceptance and attention.
Roleplay Sample:
Other (Abilities, etc):
Instead of nabbing the proper term of illusionist as his skill, Ferdinand rather calls his works nontraditional hypnotism that causes faux barriers such as thick fog and mountainous brick constructions the victim (and only the chosen victim) may falsely believe as actual objects. Other than the fancy swirling eyes, his only other power consists of what would be the equivalent of a flash bang, paralyzing the visual senses of those not smart enough to close their eyes.
Breaking Point:
The one thing that terrifies Ferdinand the most is to be assaulted by an actual demon. Ever since the dreams of elaborate torture he had for a full five years of his life, he's found demons to the worst of all the gifted; they're just complete scum to the world and should be eliminated in his opinion. To be attacked by one would be even worse and would ignite a true but fearful flame that would unpredictably surge towards flight or fight.

And there he roam amongst the land of double cheeseburgers, sniffing the scent of freshly cut lettuce, tomatoes, and caked on bacon grease. Oh, how he flew amongst french fries and nuggets, steaks and potatoes until he landed down upon a sesame seed island to chow down upon the most delicious burger of all. His hand.
“Wait, my hand?”
Rousing up from his absurd dream he blinked a few times to realize what just had happened. Well, it was quite obvious with his stomach conducting a rumbling orchestra, so he dashed down to the common room spying a girl with a tasty bowl of potato chips and hovered behind her.
“Hi.” The girl obviously sensed his presence. “It'd be nice if you didn't stand behind me like a creeper.”
He couldn't help it, he was so hungry... He snatched the bowl of chips before she could yelp and hurried back into his room, enjoying the taste of sweet sweet food robbery and ignoring the bangs at his door.
“Nomnomnom...”
