Name:
Malolin Cladd'Urden
(pronounced mAH-low-lin clad-ER-den)
First Name Meaning Mysterious Lust
Last Name Meaning Warriors of the Darkness
Age:
125
Height:
4’11”
Weight:
132lbs
Gender:
Male
Race:
Drow (Wizard)
Appearance:
(Picture to come at a later date xD)
As most elves are, Malolin is handsome. He has dark obsidian skin and long-slender figure. He’s about average height for a male drow. His hair cascades down to his mid-back and thick. The colour a snowy white. Though, the ends are rather jagged. He had tried to cut it himself yet it didn’t work out quite the way he planned. Some parts are slightly longer than others. His bangs the same way across his forehead. His eyes are a glowing red, at the eye that’s visible is. Over his left eye is a black eyepatch. When he was younger he lost his eye. Not from any sort of accident but because he believed by gouging out his eye he’d show his loyalty to his deity, Vecna—the God of Undead, Necromancy, and the Master of All That is Secret and Hidden (Vecna, too, had lost his left eye, however it was in a fight with his traitorous lieutenant). The wizard has defined muscles from working out in the Undercity. Not huge muscles, though, just more toned.
He has many piercings on his ears and one on his eyebrow. Opening his mouth would reveal his canines are slightly more pointed and yet another piercing on his tongue. His lips are thin, as are his eyebrows. His fingernails are longer than average. The same goes for his eyelashes.
Personality:
Like most drow, he has a sadistic sort of personality. Malolin likes the feeling being stronger and inflicting pain upon others. If he has (or if he just wants) to kill someone he knows he could beat for certain he’d rather kill them slowly and make them suffer. Almost to the point where they’d beg for death. In a sense, he’s vain as well. At least, outwardly. He’ll let you know he’s “the best” and make sure you don’t forget it. That doesn’t screw with his common sense though. He believes in living to fight another day. If he’s going to lose he won’t consider it a loss if he runs away so long as he’s able to exact his revenge eventually.
He’s incredibly over protective of his younger brother, though. It’s is biggest weak spot. Being the two sons, born of the same father, and both into magic he feels compelled to protect him. His brother would probably be the only person in the world thus far he’d sacrifice himself to protect.
Background:
They belonged to a higher house in Menzoberranzan. Though, not by any means an extremely powerful house. Just more powerful than the ones below it. Malolin is the first of two sons. Ken’roos the second. There had been another son after Ken’roos, however, seeing as the third son was, obviously, just a male he was sacrificed to Lolth soon after his birth. Houses, in general, only have two sons. What need is there for more? Micaridi the youngest of many sisters. Due to that she decided to pursue a path of warrior-ism instead of competing with her oldest sisters as a priestess.
Malolin was leading a raiding party to the surface; an attack on their surface cousins. It was in the dead of night (so the sun wouldn’t interfere) and it was Malolin, Ken’roos, Micaridi, another sister, and a handful of other trainees from the drow academy. The attack on the small elven group was going well—nearly perfect, in fact—until an unaccounted for group of elven reinforcements came. Knowing they accomplished their goal well enough, the drow decided to flee (that and the sun was already coming up). However, Ken’roos had his life tried upon.
Naturally, Ken’roos was able to dodge the initial attack. However, to his misfortune, the ground he was standing on gave way. Luckily the fall wasn’t too great and he was able to save himself with his powers of levitation. Nevertheless Malolin quickly came down to his brothers side (Roo was the only person he really identifies with. Had it been any other person Malolin would have left them (except, perhaps, Micaridi—though their gender difference puts a wall between them-at least on Malolin’s side)) due to the fact he was rather over-protective when it came to him.
Of course, they had heard all the stories about how bad the surface was. The evil creatures, the creepy plants, the disgusting races, and, most of all, the horrible sun. Yet, they couldn’t go back. At least, Ken’roos couldn’t. Just thinking about the punishment Matron Cladd'Urden would exact upon him for being so easily “defeated” by a lesser house made Malolin cringe. He very well couldn’t let his brother go back—death would probably be a relief compared to what their evil mother, Gaussayne (Vile Lunatic xD), would no doubt do. It was for that reason Malolin made the executive decision to stay in a cave for a day before returning to the Underdark—where they’d find refuge until they found another drow city they could possibly make their home.
Though, now, their problem lies in finding a different entrance into the Underdark
Roleplay Sample:
I’m Cielisar/Lucan x3
Other (Abilities, etc):
Fairy Fire: A drow ability. A small purple flame outlines a target though causes no physical damage. It often shocks the victim and makes them easier to find.
Globe of Darkness: A drow ability. He’s able to summon up an orb of darkness about five feet in height and width. Nothing can see through it, even with infrared vision. Good for giving any drow the advantage against those not use to fighting in complete darkness.
His Necromancer abilities will come later once I figure out what they'll be xD;

Physical Defense:
