Vinyl slid along the wall, falling into a seated position with a thud and rubbing her eyes, yawning. "Looks like you did feel something... I have no idea what's going on but we should probably get out of here and somewhere... less here." She said, pushing herself back up with some effort.
She started walking back the way they came, grabbing Rin by the arm and leading her along. With how coherent she seemed, Vinyl decided to help her out. "Now. You mentioned your house not being too far away? Theres no way I'm getting back to Brooklyn in this state... Can I just crash on your couch or somethin?"
As she exited the building, the chill of the night filled her lungs as the fresh air seemed to reinvigorate her a little bit. She pulled her phone out and typed out a quick message before looking back at the girl. A smile spread across her face as she slid her sunglasses back on. She didn't feel right without them on. "Well, it was fun while it lasted, Rin." She said, looking around as if trying to guess which way to go from here.

"Are we being possessed?" It seemed like a legitimate question to her half-conscious self, after all Vinyl had stated that she had dealt with ghosts before, so that automatically made her the go-to gal. "You think it's this place? We just need to leave an it'll be okay right?" Her demeanor was becoming almost childish now. She was so tired and hungry she couldn't think straight, she almost accused Vinyl of slipping her something, but then she realized that the blue-haired lady had never really been less than a foots distance away from her, and they hadn't eaten or drank anything in each others presence. So that idea was out the window.
She had almost fallen asleep standing up when she felt herself suddenly being pulled. She resisted for a minute, her inebriated train of thought had just assumed she had been touched by a paranormal being, but when she finally wrenched her eyelids apart she realized it was just Miss Scratch, and so let herself be dragged. "Uhm, yea no prob." Being outside did help a little. Of course it could have been the fresh air or the chill of the night, but she went ahead and accounted it to being out of the creepy building. "I don't wanna walk, I still have money... but do the taxi's run at this hour? I never stay out this late..."
She started digging through her pockets to give it a try. "I wouldn't call it fun. But I'll never deny the existence of bodiless souls again. It was enlightening, but I wouldn't go so far as to call that fun. Maybe next time we'll go to you're neck of the woods..." She let the sentence float there between them. Karrin didn't really expect there to be a next time, but Vinyl didn't ever really do what she expected her too. She flipped her phone open and dialed the local cab company.

After a few minutes of silence, Vinyls head perked up. "I don't think it was possession. Neither of our heads are spinning around and we're not spewing green slime." She said before looking at Rin with a morbid face. "Maybe we died in there and we're just ghosts?" Vinyl said, her voice getting low to add to the scare factor of it. She couldn't hold the straight face for long and broke into laughter. "Sorry, Couldn't help myself. We're probably fine, it is Late. We're probably just tired." She muttered, hopefully.
Vinyl laid back back on the edge of the sidewalk, and gave Rin a thumbs up as she gave permission to crash on the couch. "Thanks. Probably not as comfortable as my bed, but I don't feel like seeing sunlight until after sleeping..." She muttered with a slight grin. She watched Rin for the few moments as she called the cab, waiting patiently. She almost dozed off laying there, but her eyes snapped back open at a honk, startling her. The cab was here already. Maybe she did drift off for a few minutes?
~Five Minutes Later~
Vinyl stumbled into Rins Apartment, the brief ride in the taxi was comfortable and she didn't even want to get up. She looked around at the apartment, letting out a "Hmm" of thought. It was a pretty small apartment. Her eyes scanned the television and game systems and she let out a light laugh. "It reminds me quite a bit of my apartment, except Zane likes to keep everything clean." She said with a shrug. "In exchange, he doesn't mind me playing my music all day and night. In fact, he actually welcomes it." She muttered, almost to herself.
Vinyl perked up again, looking around frantically. "Come on. You're a cool person. Where's the sound system?" She asked, a worried tone in her voice before looking toward Rin, pulling her sunglasses off. Her pale magenta eyes locked on Rin. "You have to have one. Right?" She asked worriedly.

Karrin quickly walked past Vinyl and started picking up the random articles of clothing, dishes, and various trash items that covered the small area. "Yea, it's usually not this bad." she lied. "It's just been a hectic week.." the lies continued.
She stuffed the pile she had collected into a corner and came back, stuffing her hands into her pockets and ginning sheepishly. "Don't have one. Not yet. It's at the top-" She stopped abruptly, giving Vinyl a quizzical look, having just noticed her bare face. "Are you wearing color contacts?" She tipped her head to the side, like a puppy, then righted herself and blinked hard. Man, she was tired.
"Anyway, uh yea, top of the agenda. Last paycheck went entirely to bills, this paycheck was supposed to go to...food... Oh balls..." She facepalmed. "I forgot to get groceries..." How humiliating. As if her crappy little residence wasn't pathetic enough, now she didn't have anything decent to serve her first ever guest. Her hungry guest. At least she still had a couch, They could go to McDonalds or something int he morning. But for now...
"Well, we can grab a bite to eat tomorrow." She looked at the clock. "Or later today. Right now I'm so frickin tired I could just die."

Vinyl chuckled again. "Umm, Not quite." She muttered, looking down toward the ground. "Part of my teenhood was spent trying to be different from the rest. When I heard about an experimental drug that would shift eye color, based on how some drugs can darken eye color, I jumped all over it." She said, her voice sounding almost sad. "But that also sent me spiraling into other drugs..." She admitted finally, looking up to Rin with sad eyes. "Ilike my eyes, but they're a constant reminder of that painful moment of my life." She slid her sunglasses back on, as if trying to put the painful memory away. "So, I wear the sunglasses to hide them from myself, as well as others."
She looked over to Rin, her face twisting into a smile. "We'll have to set you up a sound system, then!" She said, her mood picking back up. "Maybe that's what I can do with the record player I'm fixing up..." She muttered, a pensive look on her face until her stomach rumbled again. "Oh, yeah... That." She muttered, about to ask about food when the mention of forgotten groceries hit her ears. "Well then... Sleepy time." She said simply, heading toward the couch and plopping down on it, shifting slightly to get comfortable. "Thanks for letting me crash here." She said, a happy look on her face as she slipped her headphones up once again, and started up some music. She was asleep just a few seconds later.
